Smokin Beauty: Giving Shape to the Intangible

Smokin Beauty was born from an ambitious attempt: to materialize the immaterial. What began as an exploration of how to sculpt the invisible gradually evolved into a form that both embodies and transcends those elusive elements. The sculpture rises as if lifted by an inner breath—at once stable, rooted in the ground, yet free to suggest movement and expansion in space.

Crafted in high-shore polyurethane carved resin, this edition (2 of 8) is coated with multiple layers of white powder and sealed with PU varnish, giving the piece a luminous, almost ethereal presence. Its smooth, flowing surfaces reflect light in unexpected ways, reinforcing the dialogue between solidity and vapor, permanence and ephemerality.

Smokin Beauty is also available in bronze, a material that transforms its fluid lines into something more timeless and monumental, offering a striking contrast to the delicacy of its resin counterpart.

More than an object, this sculpture embodies the paradox of capturing what escapes—the smoke, the spirit, the fleeting gesture—and translating it into form. It is a piece that oscillates between stillness and motion, anchoring the immaterial into the world of matter.
